Icy Breeze. by DafoeofLenin Icy Breeze. by DafoeofLenin
There was an ice storm a few weeks ago, which left icy raindrops on all of the trees in my backyard. It looked especially interesting when the sunlight hit them... :aww:

Shot in tungsten with white balance, levels, contrast and exposure adjustments in Lightroom.

ilike drawings, but photography is cooler:la:
This one is so beautiful!
A lot of time when someone describes a photograph as 'thought provoking' I don't really understand what they mean.... but this picture is so clear.. it almost looks surreal, like... there's so much more to it... I would describe it as thought provoking :)

wow beautiful capture
love the colors and the focus
 I really love this photo. It is amazing.

What I like about this photo is the way that you have captured the frozen droplets on the tree. I love the way that the light hits through some of the droplets, giving it a crystal look effect.

Don't get me wrong ... I love this photo but I would have liked to of seen what it would of looked like if you used a larger aperture so that all the needles on the tree where in focus, instead of just a few of them. It would have made the ice droplets to the top more crisp and sharp instead of giving it a blurred look. But then again I do like the blurred look of the ice droplets up top, it makes it look like the ice has melted and that the water droplets are dripping down the needles of the tree.

Overall, I really love your work. I love how you focus on just one small part of the image instead of getting the whole picture. :)

I've never seen something like an ice storm - the photo looks awesome with the ice :wow:
